Green (Part 2 - Colour Block Series)

This work is painted flat and is layer upon layer of acrylic paint in various greens, creating a highly texturised and bright finish.  The lighter shades emerge from the darker base giving the effect of a lifting up of the spirit of the work.
 
I am pulled into painting in this style quite often and have completed many works in different colours and shades.
 
Very uplifting, these paintings look great hung in a series side by side on a large plain wall.  Whilst they are quite big and bold as pieces, they do sit in the background in any design or colour scheme, contributing and enhancing rather than having a dominant effect.
 
I would be happy to replicate any of the works in this series for youand am also very keen to try something new, therefore willing to take a commission working at any size and in your personal colour preferences.
